Amanda specializes in helping those living with chronic stress live a more peaceful, calm, and intentional life. While learning coping and stress management strategies may help with stress reduction, Amanda’s goal is helping her clients thrive. Amanda uses a holistic approach in mental health counseling and wellness.

She also treats complicated grief, anxiety, depression, and crisis/stress reduction. She also specializes in working with helping professionals with secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, and other stress-related issues.

Amanda uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Mindfulness Strategies, and Person-Centered modalities in therapy.

Amanda graduated with her Master in Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC) from Utah State University. After taking additional classes, she qualified for her Associate Clinical Mental Health Licensure (Utah). Amanda recently became a Certified Grief Counselor and is currently in an Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT) certification course.

Amanda has experience speaking at conferences about self-care and emotional competency. Amanda is a SELF-CARE advocate and practices what she preaches. For her own self-care, Amanda likes to bake, read mystery novels, and watch American’s Funniest Home Videos
